I am in the process of making an 18% ABV beer. As such, I am doing incremental feeding of sugar and yeast to the beer. I am right now boiling 3.5 pounds of dried malt extract and a pound of corn sugar in as little water as possible to add to the beer.
You would not think that a gallon of wort could boil over in a 7 gallon pot. But it can.
